Mark you calendars! You’re invited to the 2017 “Chairity” event on Thursday, April 20th, 2017, at 6:30 p.m., hosted by The Green Chair Project. This event furnishes lives with dignity, proceeds will provide furniture assistance benefiting 584 households by the end of 2017.
The event will be filled with delicious food and drinks, tours of the facility, various auctions, and stories from the families impacted by The Green Chair Project’s services.
The Green Chair Project is an organization that provides home furnishings donated from the community for families and individuals who have transitioned from experiencing homelessness or disasters and have secured sustainable housing. For a small fee, families working with case managers from partnering agencies can select furniture, linens, cookware, and accessories to outfit their new homes. Families exchange Green Points for needed items on the showroom floor.
The Green Chair experience encourages families to prioritize and make choices – and empowers them to create their surroundings while rebuilding their lives.
