About F.I.G.S.

F.I.G.S. was established in 1982 by a group of Wake County residents and churches to address a serious problem: the need for prescription medicines for low-income people, in particular the elderly and the chronically ill. We still have that serious problem today, and many people living in Wake County – our county – still need assistance with buying their medicines.
