{Local Brands} Runologie Releases “The Boylan” Running Short

Runologie, your neighborhood running shop located here in Downtown Raleigh, has released their first ever apparel piece. The apparel item is a men’s running short named after Boylan Avenue, one of Raleigh’s historic districts. Runologie was excited to release the Boylan Short at a party and fashion show held in the shop on Friday, June 2, 2017.

 

Inspiration for the Made-in-NC Running Short

The running short was inspired by the Thursday night social runs the store leads on a weekly basis. The 3-6 mile run through downtown Raleigh starts at the store and welcomes runners at all levels. The social run comes to an end at State of Beer where you can cool down with a refreshing beverage.

 

About the Boylan Short

The Boylan short was designed with a look and functionality so that you could wear them all day and then transition into your run without having to change. The short was handcrafted in North Carolina with a water resistant poly fabric that is soft to the touch and provides a 4 way stretch. The running short features two front pockets big enough to fit the iPhone 7+ and the pocket on the right hand side has an interior key pocket, a back card pocket on the right side, and a drawstring waistband for an adjustable fit.
