The Veranda at Briar Chapel, described as, “the front porch of the Briar Chapel residential community,” is now open, complete with a great mix of independent businesses, and full of life.  As you pull in you will find multiple restaurants and a variety of services including a “simply better pharmacy” - 501 Pharmacy.

As you pull into the parking lot, you will notice that 501 is not your average pharmacy. The first giveaway is the “Drug Bug,” nicknamed from the movie “Herbie”, parked outside. With its argyle (and more argyle to come) racing stripe running up the side, the bug zooms around Chapel Hill providing clients with free delivery! If you are looking for outstanding customer service, this is the pharmacy for you. Co-owners Greg Vassie and Han Su have a combined 35 years of pharmacy experience and you can usually find one of them behind the counter. 501 Pharmacy offers traditional services as well as new cutting edge clinical services, drive-thru convenience, and immunizations.

No Visit is Complete Without Stopping at the Ice Cream Corner

Though they have local delivery, you may still want to drop in to pick up your prescriptions! Making its home in the leftmost corner of the store, covered in argyle, is 501 Pharmacy’s Ice Cream Corner. They feature ice cream from local creamery Maple View Farm in Hillsborough, NC. The flavors are always on rotation so stop in to try one, two, or three scoops of ice cream! Standby for malt and milkshakes too as we have heard rumors those are coming soon. Yum, yum, yum.
