Enjoy a Day at Carr Mill Mall!
With over 100 years of history, the Carr Mill Mall has undergone numerous changes. What once started out as an original cotton mill in 1898 has turned into a hoisery mill, woolen mill and now shopping mall that houses tons of unique shops and restaurants.
Located at the corner of Greensboro and Weaver streets in Carrboro, Carr Mill Mall has expanded to include Weaver Street Market, a community-owned and operated natural foods store and cafe, and the “Front Yard,” the lawn in front of Weaver Street Market.

One of my personal favorites, Townsend Bertram & Company sits at the corner of the Mall right next to Venable Rotisserie Bistro. The store offers tons of quality outdoor brands like Black Diamond, Eagle Nest Outfitters, Chaco and Osprey. TB&C focuses its mission on five core values: adventure, quality, community, passion and fun. When the store decides what brands to offer to its consumers, they ask themselves, “Is this company dedicated to providing top-quality gear to global adventurers?”
Whenever I go to the store, I know I’m in good hands. The staff brings their passion for the outdoors to all in the local community and is extremely helpful in assisting you with your purchase. Check out their Instagram and Facebook for store updates!
