{Movers & Shakers} Cute Buttons, Hunt & Gather, and Nüvonivo Sprout New Beginnings

Cute Buttons Gift & Paper Boutique

Park-West-Village-

Downtown Cary’s gift and paper boutique plans to close its Ashworth Village location sometime in August and will be putting down new roots in the thriving Park West Village shopping center. While Cute Buttons is still in transition, they are holding a moving sale at their soon-to-be-closed location. The sale features a selection of their adorable fixtures and furniture pieces, with many items priced at 50% off! Though Ashworth Village will surely miss them, Cute Buttons plans to flourish in their new location with more gifts, stationery and invitations to come.

So look out for their reemergence in Park West Village… coming soon!

Hunt & Gather

As of June 19th, Hunt & Gather’s 8724 Glenwood Ave. location has closed. Luckily, its customers were not cut off for long, as the high-end furniture and home goods consignment shop quickly moved into their new space at the Shops at Seaboard Station. Previously the location was occupied by Phydeaux pet store, but now the 14,400- square-foot store displays the many antiques and fine estate furnishings of Hunt & Gather. To celebrate their swift move and grand opening at the Shops at Seaboard Station, the shop is featuring a sale with 15% off consignment items! PS: Don’t miss fellow iheartretail.com contributor Lindsey Bacon’s great profile on the new shop!

Nüvonivo

nuvonivo

Similar to Cute Buttons and Hunt & Gather, the downtown Raleigh children’s clothing and toy store felt it was time for a fresh start. So when it came time to renew their lease, they cut ties and instead chose to close their Downtown Raleigh retail storefront at 111 E. Hargett St. Though the family-owned store has not yet found a new brick-and-mortar location for Nüvonivo, they have reassured their customers that the store’s online sales outlet, nuvonivo.com, will continue to run normally. So as of now, the business has decided to be patient with its search and is aiming to find a place where Nüvonivo can truly expand its capabilities and quality.

We wish the store good luck in their search and hope to see them reopen a new location soon!
