A Part-time Stationery Stylist who exudes style, grace and is naturally enthusiastic to be in a retail environment. Our ideal candidate shares our love of paper, gifts and details and has exceptional customer service. We envision someone who is a self-starter, able to take direction with ease, and deliver on daily tasks without hesitation. This person is able to maintain a warm and beautiful environment where people love to shop. A successful Stationery Stylist who will be a pace-setter for sales, a team player, well informed on all things Cute Buttons Gift and Paper Boutique, willing to learn and grow with all product lines and help our brides pick out their pretty paper.

A Day in the Life
As a Cute Buttons Stationery Stylist who, you¹ll be the touch point for all customer interactions. You will meet and greet each customer with a polite and approachable demeanor. You will assess a customer¹s needs from browsing the shop to placing a custom order and handling the transaction appropriately – always with great care and consideration. You will innately know our brand and customer, and understand our success rests with our clientele¹s perception and personal experience in every aspect of the daily job. This is everything from maintaining a neat and clean sales floor to answering the phone with polite and proper etiquette each and every time the phone rings. You will maintain a high standard of excellence in the front of house and be available for each customer first and foremost. As a strategic thinker you will also drive sales by understanding customer needs and creating appropriate suggestions in order to boost sales and increase revenues through thoughtful upsales.

No day in the life of the Cute Buttons Gift and Paper Boutique stylist is the same, a sense of flexibility, maintaining a positive outlook and keeping up with the pace of the day are always expected.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the highest levels of customer service in line with Cute Button¹s specific guidelines
  • Meet and exceed daily sales goals
  • Ability to help work with brides on ordering their wedding invitations and wedding day paper
  • Follow up with bridal clients in all aspects (reminders, thank you notes, wedding day congratulations, etc)
  • Submit custom orders with care and precision
  • Team player
  • Ensure customer satisfaction in every transaction
  • Love of our product & passion for living beautifully
  • Build, nurture & maintain client relationships
  • Cultivate a store environment that surprises & delights our clients each time they walk through our door
  • Go above & beyond, no matter the situation
  • Practice proper phone etiquette daily
  • Uphold company policies & procedures with ease
  • Own the sales floor; greeting customers, selling, maintaining an appealing space through creative merchandisingv
  • Housekeeping of the store


  • A combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform essential functions of the retail management position
  • 5+ years retail experience
  • Must love all things weddings
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in order to relay product knowledge and services
  • Strong eye for design and detail to help our brides make their paper choices and our non-bridal customers to make their custom order choices
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills
  • Strong computer skills: proficient in Excel & Word and POS software
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business including holidays, weekends; If you cannot work most Saturdays, please do not apply
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to lift and carry 30lbs
