Night at the Movies is happening Friday, Sep. 18, at Cameron Village and is a family-friendly, outdoor viewing event sponsored by the Cameron Village Merchants’ Association.
Friday evening offers a classic car show from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., free popcorn, and a free outdoor movie presentation at 8:00 p.m. in the Woodburn Rd. parking area. The public is invited to gather lawn chairs and picnic paraphernalia to watch the movie on the large canvas, located above Johnson-Lambe sporting goods store.
Coolers are welcomed; however, no alcohol is allowed to be carried in, no glass containers are allowed and personal coolers are subject to inspection. All the King’s Men, winner of the 1949 best picture Academy Award is the evening’s feature presentation (Run Time: 109 Minutes).
Enjoy dinner and a movie in Cameron Village and make it a work-free evening–let someone else do the cooking. Picnic carry-out selections are available from several Village restaurants. Call restaurants directly to place orders; prices are for take-out only and customers must be sure to mention that the order is for Cameron Village movie night.
