Seaboard Wine is hosting a wine tasting fundraiser on Thursday, July 30th from 5:30-8:00 in honor of National Mutt Day. National Mutt Day aims to celebrate, embrace, and save mixed breed dogs. Mixed breed dogs tend to be at higher risk for euthanization due to constant over-breeding and public desire of purebred dogs.
“Mixed-breed†wines will be served at the wine-tasting event to raise money for the SPCA of Wake County. Wines will come from a variety of ten different countries and over twenty-five varietals. These will include:
- The Lionhound White of South Africa
- Domaine Chiroulet Terres Blanches of France
- Sigalas Assyrtiko of Greece
- Muga Rioja Blanco of Spain
- Anton Bauer Rose of Austria
- Iovine Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio Rosso of Italy
- Visconde de Borba Tinto of Portugal
- Trivento Amado Sur of Argentina
- Annabella Red of California, USA
- The Chook Shiraz/Viognier of Australia
100% of the proceeds from the tasting fee ($15 advance/$20 at the door) will benefit the SPCA. You may also donate your ½ case or full case discount on purchases on the 30th. Stop by Seaboard Wine and support a great cause! Call 919-831-0850 to make a reservation.
