The ladies at Raleigh’s Affordable Chic have put several dates on the calendar where you can leave work and partake in little “Amy Howard Paint Therapyâ€. They aim to offer a hands-on approach, so bring a drawer, cabinet door, frame, mirror, or anything that fits on a tabletop and you’ll get to paint it! (No furniture pieces, due to space limitations.)
The workshops are offered every Wednesday evening in September – Sep. 3, Sep. 10, Sep. 17, and Sep. 24 from 6:15 p.m. until 8:15 p.m. and include:
- Hands-on painting with Amy Howard One Step chalk paint
- Hands-on with finishes including Clear Wax and Light and Dark Antique Wax and Dust of Ages
- Demonstrations of the Toscana Powder Paint and Gold Mica Powder
- One-on-one tutorials in a small workshop setting
- 10% off all Amy Howard Paint products during the workshop for attendees
The 2-hour workshop costs $45 and payment is made by the Friday prior to class to reserve your space. Each class can accommodate five participants.
