Lots happening in the Triangle-area shopping scene, with exciting announcements all the way from Apex to Cameron Village.
Starting in Apex and already open for business, The Doodling Bug has expanded from the NC State Fairgrounds Flea Market to add an additional home in Downtown Apex. Billed as “an emporium of local brands, unique artisans and handmade products and a staple inside the Raleigh Flea Market Commercial Building for almost four years” the shop offers visitors chic clothing, jewelry, accessories and home décor.
Kristen’s Shoes and Kristen’s Place will be leaving The Arboretum at Weston development in Cary and opening as a single boutique in Cameron Village in Raleigh, while also consolidating the name to “Kristen’s“.

Also coming to North Hills in August, beauty gurus Bailey & Scott will be joining North Hills boutique Fleur in the store, offering fabulous cosmetics and skincare products, a brow bar and spray tanning. Bailey & Scott is the evolution of Luxe, which was located on the Lassiter side of North Hills prior. Bailey & Scott will be taking brow appointments until the official full-service launch in August.
