{Get to Know} Jitty’s

One of the newest additions to the Cameron Village retailer roster is Jitty’s – located between Baskin Robbins and Ivy & Leo. Michelle DeWitt and her husband have returned to the South (welcome back, y’all!) after 14 years in Chicago and have brought their retail store, and Michelle’s vibrant style, back with them to share with Raleigh shoppers.

Carrying sizes 2 through 14, small through x-large, Jitty’s is known for its daily arrivals of what owner Michelle calls “casually-chic clothing” and a “relaxed approach to shopping”. She tells me with all conviction, “don’t get all gussied up to visit, because the atmosphere at Jitty’s is just like the clothing – relaxed, fun and spot-on looks of the moment!” She knew I believed her when I showed up to shop in flip flops today. 🙂

Jitty’s carries lines such as Kut from the Kloth, Baggallini, Monoreno, Dittos, Silver Jeans Co., Nick & Mo, NikiBiki (great seamless tanks – a well-dressed girl’s wardrobe staple!), Velvet Heart, Esley and many others.

Michelle believes that everyone who works in her store should be able to provide genuine styling advice and guidance. “Honesty is our mantra”, she says. “After all, you are our best advertisement.”
