{Trend Report} Belk’s Top 10 Most Wanted for Women’s Fall 2013 Fashion

As I told you on Monday when starting this week’s three-part {Trend Report) series on most wanted fall fashions, I had the pleasure of attending a trend forecasting session with Belk’s Vice President of Trend Merchandising and Fashion Direction, Arlene Goldstein a few weeks ago.

Belk (privately-owned and headquartered right here in NC, in Charlotte) was kind enough to roll out the red carpet for attendees, giving us an exclusive sneak peek of their Fall 2013 offerings for men’s and women’s apparel, footwear, and accessories. For the second post in this series, we’ll take a look tonight at Top 10 Most Wanted style statement pieces for Women’s Fall 2013 fashion.

In no particular order, Arlene’s Top 10 for Women includes: Slim Trouser, Button Front Shirt, Statement Jacket, Fashion Sweatshirt, Patterned Sweater, Something Leather, New Knit Dress, Bold Jewels, Satchel, Short Boots

One of my favorite things about dressing for colder temperatures has to be layering. A great pair of slim-cut trouser pants with a button front shirt and a statement jacket? Sold! Add on bold jewels, a satchel-style handbags, and boots? Love. (Although, I certainly want in no way to usher summer out early, I do love the twice a year wardrobe “changing of the guard” if you will, in my closet.)
