Couture for a Cause is back and better than ever, with a bigger location inside of Marbles in Downtown Raleigh and a bigger goal than last year – aiming to raise $15,000 this time around for Activate Good. Funds raised support Activate Good’s programs which benefit over 80 nonprofit partners in the local area.
“I went last year and this year I am on the planning committee and I can assure you it is one of the best shows I have been to! Definitely one of Raleigh’s premiere fashion shows for the year. This is a hyped event with a lot of energy!” – as recommended by I Heart Retail reader Mary Gillogly. (You may know her as the gal behind the @ShopClthesHound tweets!)
Couture for a Cause pairs a local designer with a local non-profit to design runway looks inspired by each organization’s goals and local efforts. How cool is that? See a list of this year’s designers and the cause they’ve been matched it here. Get more information about this year’s event or click here to buy your tickets online!
And as a special I Heart Retail reader perk, I’ll be treating one lucky reader to a pair of admission tickets to this fabulously fashionable event. All you have to do to enter in the contest for tickets is join the I Heart Retail email list prior to Wednesday, October 19th, at 11:59pm.
