One of the (many) benefits of shopping local is the great attention to detail and customer service you receive shopping with your neighborhood retailer. That really shines through when it comes time to wrap gifts!
Isn’t it nice to go home – or even head straight to a party – with your gift already wrapped? To me, that means having a few extra minutes to do the other million things on my to-do list. Now, multiply that by several gifts and I’ve just scored some significant time back in my day/evening/late night. (I’ll admit it: I am an after midnight, just before Christmas morning, always wait ’til the last minute gift wrapper… *sigh*.)
Luckily, a few of my favorite local retailers made sure that I could get to bed in a decent fashion this year on Christmas Eve. (And also kindly obliged when I came in at the last minute for a gift-on-the-go and saved me from wrapping gifts in the car!)

Great Outdoor Provision Company also provides year-round gift wrapping. Their Cameron Village shop is my personal “storeâ€, but they have other locations around the Triangle.
