In the Works at Rebus Works

Have you been to The Saturday Market at Rebus Works? If not, cancel your plans and head there this Saturday!

The Saturday Market

The Saturday Market is held indoors, every Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Rebus Works, 301 Kinsey Street (Boylan Heights). At the market, you will find fresh, local produce, eggs, baked goods, handmade items, specialty foods, and more! Plus, they have an espresso machine so you can get your Saturday mid-morning coffee fix. They always have a food truck, so no need to make other lunch plans. Stock up on your groceries for the week, gifts for the holidays, and grab lunch, all in one place!

The Market is a celebration of locally grown and produced goodness as well as a Saturday community event. Since 2011 it has brought together makers, producers, bakers, and brewers. While it may be small, what it lacks in size, it makes up for in character.

Coming Soon

Love The Saturday Market? Then we have good news for you! Rebus Works is turning their market space into a local “convenience” store and coffee shop.

The shop will be open weekly, Monday through Friday, from 7-10 a.m. The store will be serving up coffees, baked goods, and North Carolina sourced breakfasts.

Like The Saturday Market, you will be able to purchase local goods such as cheeses, breads, produce, milk, and body products, all sourced from local farms and artisans.

One of the things I am most excited about is they will have a self-serve coffee feature that will showcase local coffee roasters. Some they already have on deck are Larry’s Coffee (my personal favorite), Carrboro Coffee Roasters, Oak City Roasters, Full Bloom Coffee, and Cup of Joe Coffee.

They are aiming to open in March but you can get updates on their progress by signing up for their newsletter.
