Cary Lazy Daze Sticks to Two-Day Schedule in August

The annual Cary Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival is confirmed to stick with the newly expanded two-day schedule in 2017

Working off of the success of the 2016 Lazy Daze Festival, which featured the first trial of the two-day expansion, the Town of Cary has concluded that the benefits of this new format are worth continuing in 2017. So instead of rushing to scramble through the sprawling wonders of this festival in one day, you can breathe easy knowing you have all weekend to shop and stroll!

Cary Lazy Daze 2-day schedule continues

For those of you who are loyal Cary Lazy Daze attendees, you know that before the switch to a two-day format, the arts and crafts festival has always been the equivalent of a beloved yet strenuous marathon. To victoriously make it through the day you have to have the walking shoes, the water bottle, the paper fan, the parking gene, the largest vehicle you own (to transport all of the goodies you buy), and on top of that a whole lot of determination and strategy.

Nevertheless, for years now I have looked forward to attending this local event and as it returns for its 41st year, again featuring the new two-day format, I cant wait to take advantage of the extended browsing time. To some that may mean the luxury of not having to decide on that one piece right this moment, for others that may mean actually having the time to explore each vendor, but to me that means one day for shopping and one day for kettle corn!

The 41st Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival will be located at Cary’s Town Hall Campus

Saturday, August 26, 2017 | 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
Sunday, August 27, 2017 | 12:30 p.m.-5 p.m.
