{New Boutique on the Block} Bunches of New Ways to Buy Bottles

While not exactly “boutiques”, wine and craft beer shops make for great local shopping. And in case you haven’t taken inventory lately, there are lots of new places in town now, and coming soon, to purchase beer and wine from locally-owned retailers. Have you been to any of these great new businesses yet?

Bottle Revolution {Raleigh}
4025 Lake Boone Trail
Love beer? Go see Ted. Got beer loving friends? Take them to see Ted, too. They’ll thank you! Insider Tip: On days when the ‘Canes play at home, all NC beer is 10% off!

The Raleigh Wine Shop {Raleigh}
126 Glenwood Avenue
One of my personal favorites, stop by this Glenwood South shop and let the guys (Seth, Ryan, and Jeff) share their expertise in a very down-to-earth setting – the best way to buy wine!

The Wine Feed {Raleigh | online-only}
TheWineFeed.com combines the speed and reach of an online retailer with the personal feel of a local wine shop, offering a limited selection of constantly changing, high-quality wines that are ready to drink. While the wines are only available for purchase through their website, The Wine Feed offers free delivery locally, order pick-up hours at their event space, and delivery by UPS nationwide.

Latest Addition: Tyler’s Taproom at Seaboard Station {Raleigh}
18 Seaboard Avenue, Suite 150

via NewRaleigh.com: You can now pop around back at Tyler’s Taproom, to a separate entrance, to grab one of over 400 different types of beers.

Coming Soon: Ridgewood Wine & Beer Co. {Raleigh}
Ridge Road and Wade Avenue

via TBJ: Wine connoisseurs upset about the recent closing of Raleigh’s longtime wine shop, The Wine Merchant, can take heart in knowing that a new wine shop will be opening in the same location on Ridge Road.

The store will offer about 2,000 different wine labels and 500 craft beers – plus 12 rotating beers on draft. Elliott also encourages people to stop by and enjoy wine by the bottle or glass, as well as flights of beer and ice cold pints.

Cheers, y’all!
