Due to last weekend’s rain, the Share Our Shoes {Raleigh} Shoe-Mania event highlighted in last week’s I Heart Retail post was moved from Saturday, August 6 to Saturday, August 13.
This week, the event is scheduled to take place from 1:00pm until 5:00pm.
Children will have the opportunity to interact with Hearts & Motion Creative Entertainment, jump on bounce houses from Interactive Playgrounds Inc., have their pictures taken with and receive signed autographs from Miss Raleigh Teen 2012 USA, and eat ice cream provided by Frosty’s. This year, expect exciting giveaways and raffles from Sonic, Shoe Carnival, and The Hurricanes!
Anyone attending Shoe-Mania is asked to bring shoes with them that they do not wear or that do not fit. No matter the condition, Share Our Shoes can use them!
Share Our Shoes is still in need of shoes and volunteers for Saturday’s event. If you have shoes that you do not wear or do not fit, please donate them. If you’re interested in volunteering, please fill out the volunteer from online.
